About Spark STEM Scholars
Spark STEM Scholars is an educational initiative founded by high school mentors from the Science Olympiad team. We aim to provide free, high-quality tutoring of middle and high school STEM courses and standardized exams. We host weekly virtual meetings over the school year connecting mentors from specialized high schools and students from diverse backgrounds to spark their passion for STEM and help them excel in their exams.
Students have the opportunity to stay with their mentors throughout the year and are free to ask any academic questions.
Weekly Meeting Schedule
Spark STEM Scholars hosts meetings several times a week on Zoom for different areas of study. Each meeting will last about an hour and a half long on Saturdays and Sundays. Students will be able to stay in contact with their mentors throughout this program for advice and further guidance.
Science classes: Saturday 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Math Classes: Sunday 10:00 am - 11:30 am
SHSAT/SAT English: Sunday 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
SHSAT/SAT Math: Sunday 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
